I made Garden Delight veggie pasta and sauce with chunky veggies and meatless crumbles earlier today and I'm going to have leftovers for dinner. The longer it sits, the better it tastes! I think I'm going to skip the buttered and toasted artisan bread this time, though. Water to drink.

Went out for dinner with family to a vegetarian tapas restaurant. Shared:

Tandoor bread
labneh dip
eggplant with pine nuts dip
Papadum
gnochi
tofu summer rolls
Roasted squash
shittake with polenta

Then we went back to my brother Dave's house and had dessert on the roof, a mix of bakery items (cookies, cupcakes). As usual, too full, but good. It was nice being out on their rooftop on a night with beautiful weather. Also, we had been arguing over text but somehow being in person and breaking bread together (and papadum) seemed to create a peaceful vibe.

I'm thawing out some chicken breasts now and I think tonight I'm going to cheat a little and allow myself a small serving of jasmine rice along with a teeny bit of sweet chili sauce. Water to drink and nothing for dessert because life's been good to me so far.

Made spaghetti sauce last night.

Fry, hamburger meat, green pepper, onion, garlic powder, oregano, basil.
cool it and add to sauce in bowl. Refrigerate overnight.
Made spaghetti tonight , heated up sauce.
One kaiser cut in half, buttered, garlic power and lots of Parm. cheese. Put in oven under broiler till crispy.

I love it.
