I really don't like mashed parsnip and carrot;

colleagues who don't think they need to behave with professionalism, courtesy or integrity;

drivers double-parking and blocking me in; drifting between lanes (almost every day here); not using their indicators (ditto);

people throwing rubbish where ever they want (BIG dislike)

Recently had to put a block on my phone and quit answering my door. My polite hints were ignored. I won't have someone forcefully manipulating my time. One day I had to call a friend and have her tell me exactly what to say to this woman who would not quit pestering me. I was so upset, I was afraid of what I would have said.

I really don't like when someone waters down the coffee in my french press...
what's the point? i wind up drinking what seems some concoction, of warm milk watered down coffee), that renders me sleepy; resulting in the opposite desired affects. blah...off to make better coffee soon...or a nap.

I really don't like that I found out today that I have till Friday to put in my requests for Vacation time next year ...
Really????? I don't know!!!
I don't even know the dates for the next Reunion ... That's my most important request for time ...
And we are so small that if I don't get the dates in, I'll end up not having any vacations next year ...
So ... I really don't like that I am going to have to pull random dates out of ...................... thin air to have off next year ...

Back to happy thoughts and being thankful I have a job and have a job that offers Vacations.

I find it ironic that a lot of the men that I see doing this are hyper-masculine and sometimes even homophobic. I wonder if they would continue to do it knowing that it originated in men's prisons---many say as a way to advertise desire and availability and definitely because prisoners are often issued uniforms that are far too large and they hadn't figured out how to roll it properly without pins or a belt.

Anyway, my rant for the day is against my body. Why, oh why, do I have to wake up on days off with tweaked parts that hinder my plans of flipping the sofa, moving the rugs around and mopping anything that moves? At least the cat box got changed and the floor got a basic vacuum but I really don't like it when my own body sabotages my plans for the day.

I really don't like when health professions loudly ask "what's your birthdate?" when others are nearby. I asked them what was their birthday the first time this happened to me.

These days I come prepared with my driver's license ready to hand over.

I'm happy with my age, but I don't like shouting it out for others to hear.

Plus, that's a piece of your identity puzzle. Enough pieces and someone can have a field day with your credit.

I did have a moment that I liked when a pharmacist asked someone what their birthdate was as I walked by in Walmart because she and I have. the. exact. same. birthdate. Hearing it gave me a spritz of happiness because while I have met people who have my birthday, it's rarely the same year. I thought that was one of those tiny but fun moments the Universe doles out some joy and says, I see you.

I really don't like the time change and the adjustments needed to deal with it. I had to laugh at myself when I walked into the house after putting the horses up, grabbed a beer and sat on the couch to watch the nightly news. As it was dark out, I clicked on the remote for this nightly ritual, only to find out it was barely 5 PM and I would have to wait another hour for the news of the day.

I really don't like that my carport is just a little too short for my car. If I leave myself enough room to walk around the front of the car, leaves and gutter crap get on my car paint. If I pull all the way in, I have to walk extra steps around behind the car and sometimes have to go out in the rain.

I have always been a fan of acupuncture so when my Dr suggested dry needling for my knee which has been causing me a bit of pain while running, I thought sure, why not.

Cold, rainy, windy weather. I put the horses up 2 hours early which means another trip to the barn before calling it a day.
Also adulting which involves making the BIG decisions.
