I was thinking about this the other day, and realized that most of my "never get tired of watching" films are Disney films. On this particular occasion, it was "Freaky Friday". (It's so awesome when she gets to go shopping with Dad's credit card.) Of course, I prefer the 1960-something version.

I have really liked and enjoyed several Disney/Pixar movies, over the years. I won't mention too many, but *anything* with Don Knotts, makes me laugh LOL :).

I took my boys, when they were young, to see Toy Story. Omg, soooooo good, plus my boys had to have toys in that movie, plus I turned their bedroom into a Toy Story bedroom (curtains, bed linens, posters etc)

I personally loved the Beauty and the Beast film that was first released in the 1990s.

But, it was a dear Butch friend of mine, over in Berlin, that told me about seeing Wall-e. I bought the dvd and even saw it seven times in theaters, when it was released in the US.

Wall-e is my favorite all time Disney/Pixar movie to watch.

The Incredible Mr. Limpet was so my favorite!

That's just awesome! I read once that he threw his dummy doll (he was a ventriloquist performer for the troops, took his doll on the road ;) ) over the side of a ship and swore that he heard his dummy doll flailing in the water, screaming for help, or some such nonsense!! It's hard to believe the first Toy Story movie was released November 22, 1995! Seems like it was just yesterday So true! I was in my 30s, during the decade of the 1990s. Busy raising my two sons..... working part time, the boys loved TV shows on PBS (Sesame Street, Mr Rogers), movies taped on VHS....blockbuster movies at the theaters ..... nightly TV shows for me, after the boys went to bed (Seinfeld, Friends, Law & Order).

Time flies..... so hard to believe that those were some of the best days, during my 30s.

I found myself thinking about _Road House_ with Patrick Swayze just yesterday.

I was listening to a podcast about different methods police departments have tried to cut down on the amount of violence they're involved in. One of the methods that has worked the best has been to teach the officers to de-escalate situations, instead of escalating them. (What? you say? I thought police officers were taught that at the police academy in Policing 101. So did I, so did I.)

Anyway, I thought, "Haven't these police officers ever seen _Road House_? If bar bouncers know how to de-escalate situations, why don't the cops?" <smh>

"Be nice!"

Can always watch this. Saw this for the first time with my older sister who, unbeknown to me at the time, had a zombie phobia. She was almost underneath the seats in the movie house. And I was shocked by the ending, but she wasn’t.

Three cheers for filmmaker, George Romero.

Gloria! Both are excellent but there is JUST SOMETHING about the re-make with Sharon Stone that I love! Perhaps it's her witty one liners that I'm sure she ad libed:movieguy:

If you check it out, watch for when she forces the men to strip and makes a comment to one of them and also, watch for when she mentions her sister's meatloaf! Maybe it's just me but it cracks me up to no end!

Just watched this and laughed again....:giggle:

Legends of the Fall.

Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorite stars.
A man living with his 3 sons has a woman come into their lives that complicates things between brothers. Shows family fare, love, romance, war and mystery.

Curious you say???? Why, because I appreciate reality as opposed to Magic and Demons? I also like variety in many different type of topics. But, they all hinge on reality.

i think you mistake my meaning i probably should have used interesting...but i don't always like that word because it can mean something is interesting or not interesting at all depending...curious to me means...'surprising', not what i would expect, and i makes me think of you differently...anyway as for me, you're so right i dwell on fantasy and enjoy thinking on some other planet such things exist and i love believing it...but without demons
