The poll results are in and the three Supreme Court Justices up for retention have been ousted.

Bob Vander Plaats led the campaign to oust Iowa Supreme Court Justices David Baker, Michael Streit and Marsha Ternus because of a unanimous decision by them and the other Iowa Supreme Court Justices that allowed same sex marriage in Iowa.

Vander Plaats and the group Iowa For Freedom believes that the Justices overstepped their authority and are using this judicial retention election to send a message.
