I am so happy that she is getting recognized for all she did for the Civil Rights Movement. A year or so ago I read an anthology about the Daughters of the Civil Rights Movement; women got shoved out of the way by their male coworkers and all too often were not recognized for their sacrifices which if added up were consideratly more then the men. It fact, women were the heart of the movement and the beginners of the movement!!!! Go Rosa!!! And all her Sisters!!!On December 1, 1955 in Montgomery, AL Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat for a white passenger. This action helped to spark the Montgomery Bus Boycott and Civil Rights Movement. Thank you Rosa Parks!
