I just saw an interview with one of the actors of the film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1525838/) and it sounds very interesting. The film is about an ex-con who comes home to find the son he knew is now his daughter and what it's like from the family point of view to deal with transition. I know it's premiering here in L.A. area later this week.

It also made it to Sundance and was a nominee by the Grand Jury so it sounds like it has great promise.

I hope I'm not too diverting too far off topic, but this weekend I saw Beginners, (http://www.focusfeatures.com/beginners) (really excellent) before which the trailer for Pariah (http://www.focusfeatures.com/pariah) was featured. Like Gun Hill Road, Pariah also deals with the subject of identity transformation within family (in this case, as a masculine presenting lesbian).
