well, mark May 5th 2013 on your calender..the world is going to shift way off. LOL. I am actually going to get married again. chrissy and I have decided to make this a permanent union.

He has reached into the depths of my soul and embraced who I am completely. And I with him. We are both unusual specimens of the human race and quite frankly, both of us had given up ever hoping for romantic love. We melded first in Service. he, my sub. he tended so well to me sexually, and then sadly, medically, then joyfully spiritually, and then, oh then, romantically. We have found in each other what we had hoped for, but never found until now.

Never in a gazillion years did I think I would marry someone who was born into a male body. But he came with a female identity. and of course, to recomplicate what could have been oh so not complicated, his female identity is femme. For those who know me, know I have always said i wouldnt know what to do with a femme. Well, I have since learned..lol...

and while he has a female identity, he choses to use male pronouns. It is where he is and we are both ok with this. As is my entire family who shares this knowledge, as well as that he is my submissive. I have a very evolved family...

And while we legally can get married, we are NOT doing it legally. This is a spiritual union, not a legal one. I dont think anyone, straight, gay or any other fashion of relationship, should have legal bonds in this day and age.

He is a sci fi buff...Dr Who and brown shirts all the way. I am..well...the Brady Bunch and Xena (but only because of her hot outfit and her horse). I have a baker designing a Harry Potter cake. I have considered a Harry Potter Con for the honeymoon. chrissy is so not sure. he cant say no but he is airing his opinion repeatedly. Lol. he looks like Hagrid with a beard! Just about as big too!

I hope that this community welcomes this thread and no one complains that its too straight for this Planet. We are ANYTHING but straight. We are the epitome of queer. Embrace us and our big day and help me ritualize it...I need help with plans!

I have never been treated so well.

First, he is a wonderful person. Truly, a kind, compassionate, loyal, honest human being. A good friend. Someone you can rely on. Someone you admire. He is the one you would turn to if you needed help, even if you didnt know him well. You know he would be there. But he is no doormat. He is a strong character, in body and soul. His integrity is never shaken and no matter how hard you shake the character tree, no bad apples fall out of it.

Secondly, he is a wonderful submissive. Far far more experienced than I and took me on as his Domme because I saw in him the value he had beyond the sex, as a sub. Not only am I getting his service, I am getting his experience, yet am not getting topped from the bottom. his sense of reverence and protocol is incredible.

As a BF, he is romantic and playful. He is in his 50s like I am, and has had his heart pulled out and savaged in front of him, much like me, as well. In other words, we have come to appreciate the simple joy of honesty, faithfulness, respect and appreciation in relationships and strive to give as well as receive these things. We so uncomplicate the whole relationship process when we just keep it to those things.

We also are not committed to cultural expectations and stereotypes of who we are and who we should be. Obviously. I dont fit into a mold nor does he. This freedom has expanded my own knowledge of myself over the past couple years of knowing him. A good relationship should allow and encourage personal growth...and ours does.

and we love each other. It evolved. It was always there from the get go but it has amplified and trails like a good acid trip. LOL. And none of it happened overnite. It happened through some very tough times too..like when i almost died after surgery. and when I needed constant care when I came home from it. Nightingale effect? maybe. But its perfect. Such tenderness I have never known.

You have been on quite a journey since before your surgery
You're stronger, emotionally and physically from all I read in your posts
You found love and a soul mate, doesn't matter the sex
You got through the bad times after surgery, have a store of your own
I'd say that positive things are happening for you
Embrace it all and enjoy it

Congratulations to both of you :)

Oh wow!!!! What fun!!!!

Things i can think of right off the top of my head would be...

Of course candles was their lighting so that would work great for a wedding.

Whoever is in charge of your vow ceremony could dress up like Dumbledore, with a big long white beard.

If you could find someone who whittles, there are plenty of peeps down south that do, they could make small wands to have at each place setting at the reception. Someone could whittle wood into wands and it wouldn't cost you a cent.

Also at the reception you could have a bunch of sweets and chocolates and strawberries different types of fruits. Like they had to eat. The sweets they had for desert always make me so hungry!!! And have goblets for the glasses.

Ask people when the walk in if they are muggles or witches. If they don't understand, they are muggles and put those people on one side and the "magic folks" on the other.

Or even better, have a "sorting hat" and fill it up with papers that have each of the "houses" on them, and divide the room into four areas, to represent each of the houses. Or for less complication, only have two different houses represented with an equal number on each side. You would have to put someone in charge of that and tell the guests to only pick once for each group/couple. So they could sit together.

ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR you could have the sorting hat and when they picked out a house name, they get a badge to wear for the night that shows their house, made out of something with that house's colors.

OK i'll stop for now LOL. This will be fun and is an excellent idea!!!!

PB!!! I love your ideas! Honey I wish you were closer so you could be one of my bridesmaids! In my family, we have those who practice magic..giggling...so some might very well answer witches for real!

I have a castle in mind close by us, to have the ceremony at. Its gorgeous!

OMG that's perfect!!!!!!! I wish i lived closer too. I would totally help you with this. I'll keep-a thinking and i'm sure you'll get more suggestions from other peeps too!!!!

I understand bout them witches in your family. Got a few of those myself :sunglass: But, that's a secret.

Anyway, that castle would be EXACTLY what you need!!! Get it!!!! Get a sign made that says "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. "

Oh and you could have peeps dressed up like death eaters in long dark capes to maybe park the cars?

Oh and i found this site with a list of the characters in case you need a specific one and can't remember their name...

Bard I feel honored to share a special day with you and your missus!

always2late, what a perfect link! I saved it to use it as reference!

PB, a friend of mine is bringing me in a huge amount of medieval costumes, some of which I am sure we will use for the wedding. I cant wait to go thru them!

because this is theme based and we want our guests to get into the theme too, we need to give them time to come up with something to wear to the occasion. Garb is optional so no one feel pressured to dress up. We dont want to lose guests just because its a theme wedding!

Our honeymoon is going to be a HP Con in NH. Its held the weekend after we get married. Garb is optional there too but why bother to go if you arent going to come dressed for the occasion?

chrissy has come to me and respectfully requested that we not have a harry potter wedding. We have agreed to change the theme. So far, we are looking at the possibility of hosting a medieval wedding, or having it at our local zoo where I once worked and did much of the landscaping for both the outside enclosures and the indoor biosphere rain forest.

Any other suggestions for themes?

One of our grooms men is going to be a beloved friend of ours who lives transgendered, a wonderful deep butch female, (her wording) who will proudly sing for us as well.
