I'm going to be watching the new season of How to get away with Murder. It's a good series I found last year. I like it and it comes on prime time each week.

They are only doing about 4 more episodes then it goes on hiatus AGAIN! Why, when a network finally gets a hit, do they feel the need to pull that show for hiatus? Wouldn't one think a network would want to cash in and strike while the iron is hot so to speak? Shows like NYPD Blue, Lost, Scandal, Mad Men, the list goes on and on and on have faced all similar circumstances! I just don't get it!

I'm watching the Season Opener of The Voice tonight. It's always a good show.

I haven't had a t.v. in years, so I find myself visiting more with neighbors who have t.v's and because of that, I end up watching programs that they are watching.

Like, just yesterday I ended up watching 60 Minutes on CBS, their story on long time news journalist Bob Simon. He tragically died in a car accident, in NYC, just the other day.

I couldn't help but feel sad for his family of loved ones and his peers at CBS. He was always covering something terribly interesting. I enjoyed how they dedicated the entire show to the life and times of Bob Simon.

He's writing a new book on places that are said to be haunted and he picks the ones he wants to stay in to put in his book.
It stars John Cusack and a few other well known actors.
It's a pretty good movie.

I was watching the new episode of The Arrow. Debating whether to watch something on Netflix or actually read. *gasp*

The new episode of The Flash last night was mind-blowing, and then they time traveled at the end, meaning they are going to undo all the dramatic things that happened. I hate that. NO TIME TRAVEL cheating!

It's funny. I never read comics other than Archie, but I love all the Marvel and DC Comics movies and TV shows. Well most of them.

I hear there is going to be another spinoff with more frequent appearances by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell. They played brothers in Prison Break, and I love both of them. AND it's going to have Victor Garber, whom I also love. Looking forward to it.

I do wish that Cisco on The Flash would stay dead though, but it's too much to hope for, I guess.

"Wentworth" on Netflix..season 3. this Australia women's prison series compares most favourably with OITNB and now that OITNB is starting to wear a bit thin I think people will find Wentworth extremely engaging even addictive in it's humour, grittiness and sexy bluntness. Great characters, terrific plotting.

A bit like House of Cards took it's cue ( to put it mildly) from the British version, so I think OITNB developed many of its characters and themes from Wentworth and its predecessor "Prisoner" ( 1979-86). However it may also be true, though not likely, that all women's prisons really do have pretty much identical inmate populations,characters, power roles and problems and so there's nothing original left to be written.

Give Wentworth, on Netflix, a try but be warned, it is highly addictive.

~Fear the Walking Dead- short season, bummer. (Read today that there will be 15 episodes for season 2!) Love it.

Scarier to me since it takes place in LA and it is the beginning of the apocalypse. Next week, The Walking Dead returns.

~The Leftovers- just as weird as last season. Not our favorite.

~Ice Road Truckers- Lisa!

~Quantico- not crazy about it. Watched the second episode anyway. Hoping to get into it mighty quickly or it will be removed from our rotation.

~Homeland- terrific show. Clare Danes, what a great actress! Showtime. Get to watch it early on Sunday nights, since it is the back east feed.

Madoff ABC 8:00 p.m. I found it interesting and I think it was made for a wide range of audiences as far as the understanding of the inner workings with an itty bitty bit of (tiny) humorous and light. The second part is on Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. Intriguing!!! Part 1 was Wednesday Evening 02/03/2016@ 8:00. It would be nice if one could catch the first part, at the same time I think one could just follow Madoff 02/04/2016 @8:00 p.m. and follow the story hopefully finding it engaging.
