Just interested in the impact they have in our everyday life...Do you care? Are you feeling it? Are you mad???

For me i want to rant about how expensive everything is getting, what things used to cost and what i'm paying now...it's soooo frustrating!

Please share:veggie:

TIred of living alone. Tired of not dating that I enjoy. Tired of thinking of Xmas alone again this year. Tired of everyday nonsense and violence against others. Just tired I guess.

If that is so then one of them (hopefully I would like) can come and we can clear up each others tariffs together.

I am wondering about holiday shopping, what kind of shock am i in for.??:seeingstars:...maybe this might be a good time to make things for gifts instead of buying expensive trinkets? I want to make my sister a little lap quilt but i don't have a working sewing machine, i wonder in i can hand piece it and sew it by hand??? I've never tried...but maybe this is a good time to try...a little lap quilt with hearts in each square??? Does that sound nice or too sweet???..i will have to think about it, but not too long if i want to have it finished by december

Well, half vegan anyway :D I have started using half the amount of ground beef and substituting beans for the other half in recipes where that makes sense, like stews and casseroles. In other recipes where that doesn't really work, like meatloaf, I substitute half ground pork. which is currently $3.29/pound.

Tariffs here in Canada are like vitamins, one a day want it or not. Prices here will make a statue cry but what is, is.

The tariffs are showing up big time in grocery stores. I work at one in Nor Cal and often do the sale tags. The prices are just going up and NOT coming down. Some of the changes are subtle and others are giant leaps. Between corporate price gouging and the tariffs we are screwed.
