How many of us often misheard the lyrics of a song? :listening: I'll begin with: 1) Dido - White Flag: The part of the lyrics when she says: Well I will go down with this ship, :titantic: And I won't put my hands up and surrender. What I thought I heard: "and I won't pull my eyes out and surrender" :eek: 2) The Rolling Stones - Start Me Up: What I thought I heard: "Insomnia" instead of start me up :freak: Share yours! |

I grew up in a conservative church where singing was huge. There was a hymn called "Bringing In The Sheaves", but as a child, my Mom told me I sang, "bringing in the sheets".....yes....I was a child in the days where my Mom hung our laundry on the line to dry....

I heard a song tonight that aptly fits in this thread, although I have no idea what band sings it. The title was something like Oyta or Goita or something alone those lines.
I have no idea what it was supposed to be but I definitely heard something about chocolate shakes, some guy being a prick and someone being a bitch and that was only in the chorus. :shocking: |

OK, another song: AC/DC Dirty Deeds. Dirty deeds "done dirt cheap". In MY gutter brain, I was SURE it was "dirty deeds, DOWN HER CHEEK"! And I sang this, this way FOR YEARS.
