1) I tell myself that I'm resilent and will overcome whatever obstacles may come my way because in reality, obstacles are not a part of my vocabulary: It's just takes me a while to covertly subvert obstacles and make them into something that is taste-worthy.

2) I have enjoyed not working so hard lately but in 48 hours, I'm going to work a 14 day stretch; then catch my breath and work another stretch of time; then next month, on a certain weekend, party like a Goddess.

3) My mom celebrates her birthday on Sunday (she's going to be 74). She's also been waayyyyyy toooooooo quiet. My 'radar' is uber-sensitive lately.

4) I've gotten smarter with pinging certain posts on fb: I ping the posts that send a loud clear message that I'm intolerant of racist, over-the-top biased social behaviors and it's paying off: cousins and certain other friends & family members have 'vanished' and are getting the message loud and clear.

5) EVen though life has been uber stressful since my birthday, I've been feeling rather playful lately.
