For me, it is always better to turn the other cheek. But it's easy for me to say that because I've been very very lucky in my life.

Regarding your question, you've caught me. . I like to be deliberately ambiguous when I phrase questions sometimes because the way someone reads and subsequently answers the question also gives additional insight into where they are coming from if that makes sense. Kind of like a bunch of questions in one. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in response.
