Online gamers playing Foldit, with no background in biochem, took less than 10-days to solve a molecular mystery, that AIDS experts were unable to solve for 10-years.

The gamers figured out how to work out the intricate structure of a key enzyme that allows an HIV-like virus to proliferate. This will aid researchers in targeting the enzyme with new drugs.

In other news, the Foo Fighters mocked a homophobic Baptist church in Kansas City, MO, after the church picketed their concert. What did the Foo do? They drove up in a flatbed truck right outside the church and sang a song with the lyrics: "Think I'm in the mood for some hot man muffins".

Hysterical laughing ensued and that was just in my house!

Finally, in Carrollton, GA, the local mayor refused to allow the good townsfolk to put on a play in the community theater due to the gay and bi themes of none other than: Rocky Horror Picture Show!

My mother was a director of a community childrens theater in Orance County CA for many years and they put the play on several times with no grief from the city or residents.
