Anyway, she was telling me about some lucky thing that had happened to her, and so I went to say "Wow. How did you get so lucky?" and instead I said, "Wow. How did you get so ugly? Honest to god. OMG, I'm turning red just thinking about it!

What would your super power be? Flying. I always dream I'm flying. I really want to do that.

What do you most dislike about your appearance? Gosh, that's hard.... I'm fucking gorgeous. I guess just the effects of aging: thicker torso; certain wrinkles (not all); less muscle tone.

What is your most unappealing habit? At work, I can interrupt people a lot in meetings because I am a cut to the chase kind of person and I hate when people drone on.

What's the worst job you've ever done? I graded papers for a professor in college. It bored me.

What has been your biggest disappointment? That Kate Winslet appears to never be interested in marrying me.

When did you last cry and why? A little over two years ago after looking at a wedding album of two people madly in love and one had died about six months after the wedding.

What is the closest you've come to death? When I was around 10, I almost drown.

What is your most unappealing habit? I bite my lip. Hard. Til it's ouchy. And sometimes bleeding. It starts out looking like a cute nervous habit. But then it just looks like someone popped me in the mouth.

What is your favourite book? Brightly Burning by Mercedes Lackey. ... I think more authors should write tragedies...

What does love feel like? Hot stones... Have you ever had a hot stone massage? The heat and weight are amazing, comforting, soothing. Warmth suffuses your body leaving you light-headed and giddy. Tension slips from your muscles and you relax, unwind, feel like yourself... But when love goes bad. The hot stones burn. The weight becomes unbearable. You're blistered and burned. Burdened and weighed down. Until you learn to let go.

What's the worst job you've ever done? Telemarketer. I was supposed to call retirees and tell them about the company's amazing time share offers. But the retirees in Florida are all from the north. And I'm southern. There was a communication gap. I didn't sell many time shares.

What has been your biggest disappointment? ... Uhm, so far, just life... ? LOL

When did you last cry and why? ((Really? Why does every silly meme on the web ask this question?))

What is the closest you've come to death? Once when I was in surgery the anesthesia felt really nice and I decided it might be OK to just quit breathing altogether and leave this icky earth place. But the doctor's disagreed and so I decided to give it another go. I'm not saying they were right. But I'm not saying they were wrong either.
