I dig jazz, soul and r&b. Having been in what was called "black radio" back in the day, as an announcer and newscaster, i collected a lot of music. there's nothing like a sunny day, having a brewski and listening to great old music.

I love who I am now,
Occasionally, crabby, but way happier.

I miss the flexibility of a youthful body. LOL

I have become a morning person.
Now most of my friends are younger.

I think keeping current with pop culture,
as I always have, keeps you young for sure.

I feel like the majority of my younger friends are

obsessed with their love lives, but I guess I was too in my 20's and 30's.
I know I give good advice to them. Experience has its merits.
Not sure how I feel about the term "Cougar" does this apply to Femmes? lol

Jet, you never cease to surprise me. You worked in "black radio?" I remember the Elgins. I grew up on Soul music. In Los Angeles the in my day the big Black radio station was KGFJ. Were you in Atlanta when you worked in black radio?

got all my roses planted.. yard mowed... laundry finished...
and am currently hanging out on the front porch with the sound system blaring.. my neighbors prolly are a little irked, but...... whaddaya do?

No, I was in the midwest and I was working AM/FM in black radio in the 70s and then from there, AOR (album oriented rock); country, easy listening and then all talk before becoming a newscaster. I was in radio for 12 years total before getting into advertising (another 12 years).
