Ohh Ohh... Honey do list

Okay...
This thread is a play off of Sachita's; Official Honey Do List.
I guess I should have named it, YFU Butch to do list.
But I think the Ohh ohh will be just fine for my learning experience.

So we all know it's the 3 day weekend.
Well, my Official plans were to relax, go fishing and well, relax.
Little did I know that behind every expectation of relaxing is a expectation of get off your butt and do something around the house!
Well. I was all excited. Told Doll. I AM going fishing this weekend! And she said, well, we don't have much time during the week so this might be a good time to pull the carpet. With a sigh I said, okay. Then she said, lets go to Home Depot and see what kind of paint they have, I stopped, turned around and saw the seriousness in her eyes. So I started up the jeep and off we went... From the paint section, we now ended up in the carpet section, to which ended up in the tile section, to which ended up in the trimming section, to which ended up me wanting a smoke, lol...
Moral to the story?! Don't make plans on a long weekend if it doesn't include fixing something around the house. Never say I AM to your girl/guy. Tread slowly around the word Relax. And never I repeat, Never say Ohh ohh and sigh because the list of Honey Do's will only grow longer!!!
Anyone else have a Ohh ohh moment to share???

One of the advantages to being single......long weekend......think I will go to the beach......cat yawns......off I go.....

Grass is looking a little long there too Blaze.

Procrastination list...
That I know will be short lived!

And I think I will blame it on Kobi... Yep, that's the ticket!

Blaze,

I've noticed since owning my own home, the "to do list" is NEVER ending, IMO you should go fishing and enjoy the weekend, the house will still be there when you get back. lol

Ya know Guy, You have a point there... But, If you ever get to know Doll one of these days, you will know the look. You know, the one that crawls down your spine, pulls at your big toe and then jets back up and whacks you between the ears!
Fishing was just a sweet memory, lol. At least I pulled the carpet and padding out, dry walled, and toothpaste patched the holes yesterday.(only because I forgot to get spackle) Today. Well today is paint the ceiling day, then the walls, measure the floors.
We will have to stop at Home Depot again, (cringe) and I know this time I can't get away with the $1.87 bill I had yesterday, lol. And I also know that the basket will fill up again because when you find projects to do, well ya gotta do em!
Sooooo today will be another Ohh, ohh moment, I can feel it in the air...

I think there should be a balance. One day of honest to goodness work and one day of play. After that, it's all gravy no matter what you do.
