In this day and age of electronic spoken communication (Skype, voice mail, phone, etc...), and in good old fashioned face to face conversations, I am constantly doing a double take, not with my eyes, but with my ears.

I'm sure we all have this experience frequently, and sometimes it can be pretty hysterical.

So, go ahead and tell us...

I’ll probably be posting in here frequently since I often hear something other than what was actually said. But I’ll start out with some things I have said into the phone that the voice text picked up wrong. When Hollylane and I first met, I spoke into the mic to text “so you’re 40”. It heard and typed “so you’re horny”. It’s a miracle that she continued to chat with me after that.

I was in the emoticons looking for a good one when I came across, "leatherflag"

What I read was, "featherfag"

Then I saw it was a flag but thought... it would be total awesomeness to have an emoticon of a drag queen with a feather boa.
