So, I'm watching "The Medicis" on Netflix and I hear this great line. I think it's Cosimo's mother that says it:

"Before you embark on a journey of revenge , dig two graves."

And I think: wow, great line...so I look it up and it's by Confucius.

It's a gutsy scriptwriter that sticks Confucius into the mouth of a 15th Century Florentine woman.
