Currently meaning is to allow events to unfold naturally; to accept what occurs without prejudice, worry, or regret.

"It Is What It Is".......... (what the hell else would it be!!!)

An idiomatic phrase, indicating the immutable nature of an object or circumstance. This is commonly used in American culture as a response of acceptance to something so why go on about it and make yourself feel worse!

If I may just interject .....this idiom irritates me to no end! Why I even posted it is beyond me ....

"No Problem"...............

Another relatively new idiom used mainly by the younger crowd meaning a

casual "you're welcome." As in "there's no need for thanks, it wasn't a hassle."

I totally get this one but I often see older folks writing in to Dear Abby bitching about not getting a 'proper' thank you!
