FINALLY, a fast food restaurant with some yummy salads! My new favorite...

Almonds, strawberries, blueberries and grilled chicken with a fat-free raspberry vinagrette...OMG!

Last school luncheon (tomorrow faculty and staff go to a Dumbo restaurant for a catered affair with full bar):
gazpacho (homemade)
smoky pork ribs, or bbq chicken, or bbq tofu
baked potatoes, cole slaw, full salad bar with lots of options
roasted tomatoes with mushrooms and leeks (yum)
steamed and sautéed with a bit of butter peapods
home made lemon cheesecake with homemade whipped cream
homemade lemonade and sweet tea

Needless to say, I am not having dinner!

I HUUUUUUUGE salad of romaine, mixed spring greens, fresh sliced mushrooms, roma tomato, garbanzo beans, feta, kalamata olives, and Caesar vinaigrette. Nummy good.

I spent the day at school working on paperwork and went out for burger to a little French place near there......very rare burger on brioche roll with caramelized onions and rosemary on top, lovely fries, a pint of Six Point, I ate outside, watching some of my students (on vacation) walk by and shout "Madame" at me!
No dessert, but I need an espresso, and I will make it at home in a half-hour I think.

I *finally* slept. So I just woke up about 30 minutes ago.

So far, for lunch...

Coffee.

But I am hungry.

And I don't know what we're doing for dinner.

So maybe I'll finish off my huge container of baby spring lettuce, with grape tomatoes, and crackers, croutons, parmesan cheese, and either balsamic vineger or buttermilk ranch

Prosciutto, avocado and heirloom tomato sandwich with creamy lemony caper dressing on ciabatta roll, glass of Chardonnay, and strawberries with raw sugar and balsamic for dessert. An espresso, and I am good to go!
