One of my most favorite songs of all time, "Moon River" by Henry Mancini and Savannah's own Johnny Mercer. What most people don't know is that Moon River is an actual place....an actual river. I practically grew up on it, spending many summers fishing, swimming, crabbing and water skiing on it. To this day, listening to it takes me back to those golden years of growing up Southern, in Savannah......and Moon River.
