Here it is Tuesday and the 2nd day of my 5 day training class (database programming) at a local technical center. Constant need to continually upgrade skills to latest versions - technology moves forward at a rapid pace.

Fun to be away from the office, plus I can wear casual attire every day. To me, that means jeans. I always feel like I am playing hooky from work when I get to attend these classes. Learning a lot, some of it I already know. I am enjoying the instructor too. One thing, he talks so fast, I have to really concentrate to keep up but we have to cover an entire book in 5 days. (like drinking water from a fire hose) He is certainly giving all he has got to ensure we get through the whole book.

Making new friends. These two women on the row directly behind me are cracking me up. They are hilarious!

That is my feel goody for today!

made a new friend today. Another local butch. She came over for some ice tea and to talk about the group we both belong to. She is willing to help me with my pets when I go into the hospital for my surgeries.

so lets see...I have met three local butches so far! LOL. When I wanted to date, I couldnt find a butch anywhere. Now that I am on hiatus, they are all around me!

Okay, back to the feel good thread.

Here is mine for today.

I have been looking for a companion friend (dog) for my dog, Kelly. Found him this past Wednesday at the Humane Shelter. Named him Kevin. What a sweetie. Kevin and Kelly get along so well. They adore each other. I took Kelly to the Humane Shelter for introductions after I played with Kevin but before I adopted him. They were great together. I had to make sure.

Makes me feel so good. Kelly is no longer lonely and Kevin (a stray) now has a forever home.

Win-win situation for all!
