Confessions Are Good For The Soul

I confess my father in law is 89 years old.

I confess he has dementia and can't remember anything more than 30 seconds.

I confess he has a wonderful sense of humor in spite of the dementia.

I confess last night he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia.

I confess his pulling the IV and such out the first time wasn't funny.

I confess his attempting to pull the stuff out and to get out of bed wasn't funny the 40th time either.

I further confess I was never intended to see an old man's private parts and my honey claims he needs therapy .

I confess my honey and I are exhausted.

I confess back to the hospital in a few minutes because they say he is well enough to be released. Yeah!!!
