Good Morning Jo Jo,

I am sending you my thoughts, prayers and plenty of hugs for your trip next week. I remember watching my dad going through all of his medical issues and how hard it was emotionally and physically hard on him and my family. The day I walked into his hospital room after his double bypass surgery, just seeing him was the hardest on me. I remember him as being this man who would play softball tournaments at Christmas time to make sure under privileged kids had presents. He also had his bad side and I have more of those memories than anything else. When he passed away, it f**king hurt more than anything else. To this day, I am still trying to sort out those emotions.

Yesterday was pretty uneventful...I actually went to bed at 7:30 since I've been so exhausted. It helped a little, but somehow I'm still tired.

Mom is hanging in there. I'll be up there next week to see her, so I'll have a better idea of what's real then. I'm getting too much conflicting information to be sure of anything just now.

Have fun bowling on Saturday Zimmy! I actually love bowling, although I stink at it.
