Yup, best to be prepared.
Last year the "tropical storms" took out major roadways, bridges, and small towns all around me and that passed through much more quickly than what we are expecting over the coming week. My immediate area did not have much power loss but just miles from me folks were without for up to two weeks. It's a big strain on hospitals and assisted living facilities. The combination of potential wind, rain, and snow, if it happens, will indeed cause mass damages. I just had to break it to my tenant that her pellet stove will not work if the electric goes out. She assumed if she lit it by hand that it would work. ![]() |
