Early morning sunrise
Over the snowy landscape
Soft silence surrounding you
The air so chilly puffs of breath can be seen

The snow glistening under the brilliance of the sun
Like a million diamonds strewn across the ground
Watching the world sleep
So magical in its own right

Though it is winter there is wildlife about
Listen closely you can hear a bird or two
Watch closely you will see a squirrel hunting for his nuts
The world just moves at a much more sedate pace in the colder months

Enjoy the quiet beauty of ice and snow
As it gives you reasons to snuggle up close with one you love
Huddling around a fire drinking hot chocolate
Sharing stories that bring smiles to faces of many

Soon the snow and ice will melt
The plants will sprout greenery all over
The trees will bud
And the birds and animals will come to life with a vengeance

So enjoy your quiet time
Enjoy the snowball fights
Enjoy the sledding
And most of all enjoy the snuggles.
