F*ck Feelings: One Shrink's Practical Advice for Managing All Life's Impossible Problems
![]() Excerpt review below: WARNING: Naughty language in this book. Despite the cheerfully bright yellow cover and salaciously curt, morally outskirting title, F*uck FEELINGS is a landmark of psychological help. With tongue-in-(hopefully)-cheek mocking of every Dr. First-name (Phil, Deepak, Oprah) book out there, Dr. Bennett and his comedic daughter seek to dispense actually useful advice with wit and practicality (...). ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆ ☆ I bought this book recently because for me, it's not about feelings or happiness or some part of becoming 'glad', but more about finding a particular element of satisfaction. So far, I like what I've read. I'll probably pass it on to others in my group of reading aficionados because we tend to do that for each other: buy a book, pass it on. Kind of like a fair reading exchange, type of thing.
