Fire Chasers
I started watching this new Netflix documentary series today about California fire fighters. It also includes the women from prison that volunteer to go through fire fighter training to fight fires side by side with the men and women professional fire fighters from across the state.
California has 60+ million dead and dying trees, AKA fuel. They are due to increasing climate change temperatures, drought and a tiny bug called a bark beetle that eats away at trees dying from the drought. Fire season starts earlier every year now. I guess you can tell, I think it is an excellent series.
