My family used to call me a "section eater." What that meant was that I would eat all of one thing until it was gone and then move on to the next thing on my plate and eat all of that until it was gone. I would do that until everything was eaten. I don't do that very much anymore as I eat a lot of things like soup and casseroles where everything is all together in one dish.
