A few weeks ago I got a newsletter from PetPlan that said there was no evidence that domestic animals can catch or spread C19. Relief! Then, I googled and there's some "read between the lines" needed with the CDC's position on the subject.
On the one hand, they say there's no evidence that pets can catch it. On the other hand, they say if your sick, stay away from your pets. The latter seems the most logical course of action since both cats and dogs can suffer from upper respiratory illnesses.
