Jingoism is a term I learned about in an upper-Ed class of Sociology: The Sociology of Religions.

In that class I learned that excessive, chauvinistic oppressive views, which bring or cause harm to others, and finds its roots in irrational nationalistic views is called ....Jingoism (n) or Jingoistic (v).

In your post, you intimated that Far Right views and Far Left views find a lot in common with each other. I think your assessment of that is accurate and I added my thoughts that both sides are a form of Jingoism and often at times jingoistic. That is what I meant by using the term Jingoism/Jingoistic.

The drive-in President-Elect and Vice President Elect address is almost ready for on air broadcast, so I think it's time for me to go now.
