hi Linus  For the last few weeks (maybe longer, who knows), my hard drive occasionally makes the noise like it's trying to read a disk, only it's empty. It'll do it once or twice then stop. (win xp) It does it randomly; i can be reading threads here, in my email, or playing solitaire. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!!
