What Are You Thankful For?

....ending my long, sometimes frustrating, workday on a positive note that my advocacy work and inter-department relationships accomplished organizing two state agencies who finally agreed to "petition the court on behalf of" a young sister that needs custody of her teen-age siblings.... I can't give more details here, but it felt good that after she has fought for several years and got no-where, that we finally (after I pushed and insisted) got somewhere. Hearing the relief in her voice and how happy she was really made my day.

My motto below ..."don't let anyone pluck your feathers!"....really fits today's scenario!!
