I lay here beside you
Snuggled against you
Feeling so warm and safe
When I feel your hand
Touching my face tenderly

I open my eyes
Looking up on your smiling face
Your thumb rubbing across my cheek
A smile spreads over my face
As you lean in for a morning kiss

The first kiss of the day
A promise given all over again
That you will be by my side
Through thick and thin
That precious morning kiss

The first kiss of the day
A pledge of our love
For one another
Growing stronger every day
The loving morning kiss

The first kiss of the day
A vow every day
That we will be there
For eachother no matter what
I look forward to that morning kiss
