I am an angel made from Heaven's Light Created to uphold what is right I am an angel born of the god's sweat and strife The only one given mortal life I am an angel who draws earthly breath who also knows the pain of death I am an angel and yet I too can fall I am an angel and not above it all I am an angel, once top of the list One who longed for only a kiss I am an angel who felt a human touch then was left longing for it too much I am an angel who dared to love and now have fallen from Heaven above I am an angel of flesh and bone I no longer wish to be alone I am an angel who in passion did lie I am an angel and now I cry I am an angel, denied Heaven's throne with no place to call my home I am an angel who dared desire Now, I shall forever be burned in love's fire I am an angel or so I seem The only one to have a mortal's dream
