(Partly because I could not face another 15-page term paper), I chose to take a creative writing class this semester

(I am on the 6-year plan: one class per semester, eventual MA in Literature: Professional Writing sub-plan)

(taking my time because this is a back-up, back-pocket Master's, have no plans to leave the library field if I can help it-- but journalists are forever predicting our demise: if they say it often enough that people start believing it it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy)

(in which case my backup career choice is Public Relations and you need a writing degree)

Anyhoo I am going to post the poems I write for class in this thread
