Lunch: What's on the menu?

Today's lunch for me was doctored up frozen pizza baked to crispy perfection. LOL!

I'm going to Jimbos to get a "North Park Rumble" sweet potato and kale salad. I am so hooked on this salad. I'm going to make it later this week, but I don't have time this morning. So, Jimbos it is for lunch.

Yesterday, I had a chicken salad sandwich that Oliver kept trying to taste test, pomegranate arils and some kale super food salad.

I had an amazing lunch...

I had originally tried to order from my usual Jamaican place...but they were busy and not taking take out orders...

WELL.......

I was working downtown so I decided to walk across the street and get what is touted as "Indian street food" from a wonderful little restaurant called Chai Pani (WHO...after looking at the menu...has free refills on Chai tea when you eat in...*note to self)

I ordered This:

Kathi Kabab Roll
Chicken seared with tandoori spices in a griddled wrap (brushed w/ egg) with onions, cilantro, rice, roasted lentils & chutneys.

I went next door to my fave ice cream place ( https://www.kilwins.com/)JUST for a salted caramel...but...ended up getting ice cream...because they had pumpkin AND salted caramel...so I got half and half...I also got to talking with the girl working there and told her I was eating next door. Turns out she LOVES Chai Pani and what I ordered was her fave dish

So I get my lunch and go to a park to munch....and it was OMG good....good heat...amazing tandoori taste....and the yogurt sauce with mint was just perfect for tempering the heat....

My mouth hasnt been so happy in many moons...
