Other than this wonderful thread myday is starting off bad. My son has been sick and is now being difficult bout getting up and going to school. Plus i have to take a half a day from work to deal with cable ppl AGAIN. Its been ongoing for 2 weeks now BUT i have gotten a $7.59 credit thus far

anyway i need to go switch lenses on the camera..im tihnking wide angle would be better or perhaps a motion sensor camera..that way i capture everything

Hola musicman...yes it's happened, David Cameron (Conservative/Fascist) is now our new Prime Minister with David Clegg (Liberal Democrat) as Deputy PM...we have a coalition government because the result of our election was a 'hung parliament'. It's a damned odd mix of a government that hopefully will result in another Election within the year.

Incubus, thanks for the clarification on that. I try to avoid politics and all the bull shit but as I said it was on the news and being Canadian It caught my attention.
We in Canada are not much better off.

Are the people hoping for another election so soon? That becomes expensive in itself.

My condolences to the UK people. Fingers crossed it all works out in the end.

I try to avoid politics and all the BS too musicman but it was too important to ignore it this time. Yes, many - although not all, are hoping for another election as soon as possible. To be fair, the Fascists did get the most votes (just not enough for the majority necessary to form a government on their own) so many folks are actually happy that they're now in power.

Scoote I had a problem with my phone for months. I must have put in 6 trouble tickets. I finally contact heads of dept and demanding they send someone out until it was resolved. Finally after 2 months they fixed it. I then called billing expecting a refund and they TRIED to give me 20 bucks. I told them they were out of their minds and that there was no way I was paying for service I didn't have. After an hour on the phone and speaking to supervisors I was credited for the whole two months i had crappy service. Don't take no for an answer. You should never pay for service you didn't get. There are laws protecting you from utilities. You just need to keep talking until they do it or file a complaint with your state.
