Daniel Ortiz Junior, 39, of Woodland Park, was on duty as a Transportation Security Administration officer at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey last Tuesday. Witnesses allege that around 4.30pm, they saw him take the watch out of the man's bag while it went through a security screening and place it in his pocket. A Port Authority police spokesman said that when authorities went to confront Ortiz, they found the Michele Delo silver watch in the pocket of his pants. He was then arrested and is due in court in March 2.
