On Saturday, I delivered a large crock of homemade chicken n dumplins, deviled eggs and several tomato plants to my friend who's recovering from surgery and her husband. I can't take credit for making the dumplins and eggs, but I sure enjoyed delivering them to a family that's currently in need of a bit of neighborly love.

We gave our time and company to a dear family friend whose husband is dying of lung cancer. He only has a couple months to live and his wife needed to talk and vent.

My company suports the United Way and we have a huge campaign every year. I gave for 22 yrs, then stopped for various reasons.
This year they gave us 9 different organizations besides the UW to chose from that is direct donation and doesn't go threw the UW at all. I gave my weekly deductible donation to hospice and palliative care for my county
