congratulations to you Daddy on the new job...i wish i could get one,but hard to make what i do with a somewhat flexible schedule anywhere else..*shrugs*

and i think this thread needs some more nighttime action..and it is warm every night so im thinking swimming pool,jacuzzi,a fire pit,good company every now and then life would be even better

Guess it's time to build beyone the kitchen...and you know how I feel about swimming pools, jacuzzis and fire pits.

I am glad there is no fear that scootebaby wont drown in the chocolate!! mmmm chocolate... if ya gotta go you cant find a better way in my opinion!

scootebaby sometimes it takes what works best for you with your job even if it isnt ideal... Damon's job is part time and they keep cutting his hours and his insurance is outrageous... So now he can work full time and less for insurance!! YEAH!!

and jacuzzi, cookout fun night stuff sounds awesome!! Thanks...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I'd like that with strawberries. Or cherries. Or..oh what the hell those things called?...pixy sticks. I find it in oriental foods. Thin bread wafer with...something on the end. It's yummy.

And yes, I do assume the job is full-time. *shrugs* That's what we discussed. Didn't occur to me to double check.

However, at work today, my now former supervisor got immense amusement out of the week off at the end of my notice. And asking LOTS of questions about FTM.

It kinda made me nervous. Being a catholic place and all...

Hmm...could use something sweet now.

Well...

THAT is an interesting story.

When I was hired by my current company, it was under the assumption it was full time. About 2 hours after I got the job, I was told there was a mix up, but not to worry cuz I would get 64 hours a paycheck (2 wks). So I wasn't too worried.

MBE noticed that they cut me down from 8 days to 7.

That may not seem much on the scheme of things, but, my ins costs me approximately $250/mo. Therefore, approximately 1 day a week, I worked for free. Well, for my ins.

My ADON insisted I requested a couple of days off, when I did not. I get every other weekend off. And she put me in for days off before that.

Thus, a week vacation that I didn't want.

When the ADON was asked about this, because I was not the only one (one of my coworkers received at least 10 days off), we (part-timers) were told "we have to fit you in where we can around full-timers."

We have 3 full-timers. We have 6 part-timers.

We're short staffed most days.

Yet they cut hours.

My tummy is still a little upset... Damon was gonna take me out for ice cream but think its best to wait until tomorrow.. We have the weekend together!! YEAHHHH... Not sure how much I will see him when his job starts.. we dont know the schedule yet... so I am going to enjoy the entire weekend!!

Good Morning Jo Jo and Scoote,

I am still here in my room looking at my pictures of Paris and daydreaming about going over there one day. I had a house full of people yesterday and my best friend's little boy has kept us both up Thursday. For some reason, he is still not sleeping through the night and since his room is next to mine, I hear him when he gets up at 12:40am and 2:30am. I went back to bed after she left for work yesterday and I slept until 8:30a, whoopps. I am glad that she is off tomorrow, but I have to take my phone to the Apple store in Orlando to see if they can fix it. When I call someone, they sound like they are under water.
