No epidemic that I'm aware HOWEVER I do not like the idea of other people's germs. For starters you have cold/flu/viruses that could be caught. And I prefer to not get sick. Now true these germs can be on any door handle and surfaces but I keep hand sanitizer in my car. Also there's the possibility of fecal bacteria on hands that have touched said door because they don't wash their hands.

It's the knowledge that some people are gross.

Nuff' said and yes, I will keep on keeping on using toilet seat protectors and paper towels to open bathroom doors.
