Jo's Kitchen (and yes, the coffee IS on...)

Hello kitchen dwellers

I've had a heck of a day. It's looking more and more impossible to sell this house. At this point we've pretty much decided to rent it out...and I just want to get moved. Sitting here with a coffee...with a nice shot of Bailey's...an occasional indulgence.

The soup is smelling wonderful. I took yesterday's roast chicken and turned it into stock last night, then into the fridge overnight so I could skim the fat and cool the meat. Tonight it's almost all the way to cream of chicken soup with rice...my son's favorite.

Music...good to see you. I hope things calm down soon for you. We've been managing breakfast (and I especially like the froot loops morningstar...seriously...they're addictive!), but it's just not the same without you.
Mrs. Strutt...such a sweet event! Seems like not so long ago I was doing the same with my son...and now he stands as tall as the tip of my nose. Time flies...

I was out checking the rhubarb this morning...still not quite big enough but getting close to pie size!

So, let's see...dinner tonight....there will be homemade cream of chicken soup with rice, a green salad, biscuits....is that enough? If folks are really hungry, I could raid the fridge and see what else is there!
