DC you are soooooo right in your observation.
Well, one day i came to Jo's kitchen looking for some coffee, there was this Butch at the back making breakfast. i was pretty impressed, not to mention he is very dependable! So, we got talking about music one day (of course). The next morning Musicman made breakfast and had music piped into the kitchen. He did this time and time again. Then one day, he couldn't make it, and asked if i would step in as a sub, being as i was an early riser too.. And it just went on from there........ ps i have no doubt "Faith" made it as one of the best albums in 1987. My question is: how many kitchen peeps bought the cassette, album or other? |

So do I. I can honestly say, I am a music junkie. I grew up listening to Hank Williams Sr, thanks to my dad. By the time I was 13, I was listening to The Cure and then started listening to Motley Crue<which I have seen twice, woohoo>..I have since started listening to Reggaeton<PitBull>, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, A Perfect Circle and so on. Good morning kitchen dwellers
  Coffee and  is on...and I'm loading up the table for Sunday brunch....blueberry pancakes and waffles with real maple syrup...scrambled eggs with minced ham, cheddar cheese, onion, and green pepper...or eggs cooked to order if you don't like them scrambled with all the stuff. We've also got my famous homemade hash browns (nice and crisp), bacon and patty sausage and biscuits with country gravy. On the lighter side we've got fresh melon salad with watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe and some sliced fresh pineapple as well. Dig in!Yesterday at the festival was lovely...baby alpacas, lambs to pet, shearing of sheep and alpacas, feeding the chickens and my son (and 70 year old mother) zooming down the hillside on ziplines. He did pass on the pony rides though...guess that's not cool anymore at the ripe old age of 12. Hope you all are having a lovely, relaxing Sunday. I'm headed to the shower and a little tidy up before the open house sign goes out to the road.   baby....I love you

Hey it's time for some late day coffee to keep this weary gal on her feet and standing for a few more hours.
Strong dark brown go-go juice - yep that's what i need. i couldn't make it in this morning and hope to be up bright and early tomorrow. For those that might be needing a late day snack (I promise it won't interfere with your dinner!) Have some of this banana bread

Wow...I wake up to a beautiful breakfast on the beach! Thank you Zimmy and morningstar...so sweet of you both.Mrs. Strutt...sounds like you have wonderful plans for the day...enjoy the sun and fun!  Unfortunately yesterday's open house efforts were a big ol' zero, but we're trying again today.I did break all the rules in the real estate universe and call one couple that had come to look at the house 3 times. They're local business owners, and the realtor was saying they love the house but were worried about the street being too busy (two lanes, but pretty constant traffic). Anyway...I called, we talked....and they're considering renting the house to see how they really feel about the reality of the street and the house...kind of a "try it before you buy it" situation. You could tell it was a holiday weekend around here....coulda fired a cannon through the kitchen last night and not hurt a soul!  I confess to having been under the weather yesterday so wasn't posting much...all better today though (just in time for work....sigh.....) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...and that our Canadian friends didn't work too hard yesterday... Breakfast is on....hashbrowns, eggs cooked to order, fresh blueberry pancakes, ham steaks....and a nice fruit salad of strawberries, bananas, kiwi and pineapple. There's yogurt and granola too...for those that want something a little healthier and lighter.   I'm off to catch up on work...and have a conference call at 10...but I'll be back. Thank you for breakfast! Glad to hear you are feeling better and hopefull those ppl will rent the house from you. I bought some fresh blueberries and strawberries at the grocery store lastnight and I cannot wait to have a few of them. How was your Memorial Day? I had a lot of fun, we tried to BBQ before the rain hit us and it rained all night after it did start. I slept like a baby listening to the rain hit the roof.
