being stuck in the ER for several hours...
blood drawn from both arms... an IV needle that didn't go in right, 3 IV bags, morphine and toradol that made me all loopy and the room spin, CT scan on kidneys being told by the ER doctor that the Lupus can cause serious Kidney issues... that it may not just be reoccurring problems with kidney stones. finally getting home...wanting to sleep but still too uncomfortable to stay asleep... thinking about all the work I shoulda got done... coming home to an empty, quiet house. OHHHHHH well... it coulda been a worse day... they coulda kept me over night. At least when I can find a comfy, cozy spot that doesn't hurt, I can snuggle up with my warm little 4 legged buddies and rest.
