My last doctor appointment of the year and it was great!
My doc said see you next year and keep up the good work.

My blood work was outstanding! It was even much better than when I was 25 years old.

That is a lot to smile about.

The intermittent sunshine we're having today. I love pearly skies, but I also love sunshine. It's seasonally cool today too, so that's smile worthy too. Well, that and pictures of clothes and such, help boost my mood too.

Bear in mind that I've a lifelong love of astrophysics and astronautics... - I was reading the comments above, and on seeing Katzchen's comment imemdiately above, I saw not a kawai kitty sitting on a leaf falling from a tree, but a kawai kitty surfing something glowing red-hot down from orbit...

(shakes head, looks again..) - normality is restored - it's definitely a kitty riding a falling leaf. Good! Wouldn't want those paws to get scorched!

Being reminded once again how stress-free and peaceful it is to live where I do now. I definitely need some company and civilization once in a while, but overall I do love it here and it keeps me feeling peaceful. In a few hours I will enjoy a gorgeous sunset.

My Dad once he was reminded that we are all going to be at his place for Thanksgiving was so incredibly happy that he even posted on Facebook about it and he never does that. It makes me smile so much to experience his happy moments.

I totally understand the Facebook moments. I set my Mom up, posted her picture and made a statement to her friends, that she probably was only going to like posts. I put her on there to see pictures that the family posts.

To my amazement, she is starting to type little comments!

Me and my two student colleagues making a pretty good go of a presentation on urban agritech - other students on our years told us they reckoned we were slick - AND doing well on todays plant idents without using the cribsheet for names that we're allowed to use and most of our class do use :-) I don't often blow my own trumpet, but ... (breaks out into a brief jazz solo) <grin>
