I miss my Dad's love of NCAA 🏈. We used to make our own picks for each bowl game. Back then there was only 15 bowl games, there are 40 now.

I miss back when it really meant something when your team went to a bowl game. Of the 15 games 7 were the most prestigious. Cotton, Sugar, Rose, Gator, Orange Peach,Fiesta.

I lived in an apartment along a curve. We had rocking chairs facing the "el." Sat for hours on the porch during the nights of summertime.

As a parent who has hosted a multitude of parties for wee ones, I can honestly say I am so glad the "goodie bag" days are behind us. 😄
