I saw...
A notepad and pen.
A glass pitcher filled with ice water, 4 glass goblets, a beautiful small glass candy dish filled with an assortment of tiny fruit flavoured hard candies.  To the side but still in front of me a service plate with a few different vegetables and dipping sauces and a cute cardboard cup filled with kernels of popcorn lightly sprinkled on top with paprika. Also, a few sheets of lined paper heavily marked up with messy but legible handwriting, arrows, stars, asterisks, bullet points and underlined, circled and yellow highlighted text... I probably should learn shorthand... |
