I had a much delayed moment of being pissed off....
I just realized today that not ONE of my clients bothered to send a sympathy card when my mother passed. They were previously her clients since I took over the business for her when she retired. These people have known her (and me) for YEARS. I know for a fact she sent them sympathy cards when they lost beloved pets. It’s astounding when you realize how very little you matter to some people.
