The crisp air, where you can almost see your breath.

Breaking out the fleece vests, sweaters, jeans, boots, and a beanie

The dapple of color in the leaves and when a swift breeze comes, watching them fall from the trees.

Knowing the "Season" has started.

The smell of burning wood in the air.

A full Moon on a chilly night.

Sleeping sans pajamas, rolled up in a cool down comforter.

Pumpkins!!

I remember wearing a short red suede jacket w/ fringe sleeves , jeans. boots, brushing my horse and listening to the song "Crimson & Clover" with the scent of the pine trees on a perfect fall evening ~ that song always brings the fall and the scent of pine back.

For Autumn
1. c. Flour
2. tsp. Baking Powder
1. tbsp. Sugar
Whisk together.
~~~~~
Add-
1. c. Almond Milk
2. tbsp. Pumpkin Puree
1. tbsp. oil
1. tsp. Lemon Juice
scant. 1/2. tsp. cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
Mix together but should remain a bit lumpy.

toppings:
almond butter/peanut butter
maple syrup
whipped coconut butter cream(from can)
toasted walnuts (finely chopped)
Pour 1/2. cup of pumpkin batter for each section of waffle iron which has been prepared with a bit of vegan butter. Bake to the degree of crispiness you enjoy.
On plate put a serving of waffles. Top waffles with cookie butter, almond butter, peanut butter or vegan butter.
Then pour a bit of Maple Syrup on top of that, then
Whipped Coconut butter (from can)
the toasted walnuts & a sprinkle of cinnamon
